Project Potatohead

Project Potatohead is a farm-to-foodbank initiative at hackerfarm where we allocate fields and donate harvests on those fields to food banks around Tokyo. This project came about from seeing the economic damage caused by the Covid-19 pandemic around the world. We realized that food security for people and families would become an issue, especially in Tokyo.

This project attempts to contribute to a solution, where food plays a role in assisting the community during hard times. We’re hoping that this project expands into a larger project to bring together other like minded farmers and help Japan and the world recover from this great pandemic of 2020.
